En el circo, hay público, un domador, un elefante y también, otros personajes. El público tiene muchas ganas de aplaudir. El domador, muy mal carácter y el elefante, un montón de miedo al escenario. Un día, pasa algo que nadie espera. El látigo del domador se enreda, el hombre se enoja y ordena al elefante que salga a la pista a trabajar. Cuando se apagan las luces, el animal obedece, tiembla, tambalea, tropieza, cae, rueda por la arena y olvida todo lo que debe hacer y cómo actuar. En ese momento, el público aplaude con todas las ganas que tiene, y con ese aplauso, el elefante descubre algo muy importante para él.
