Los bostezos, los piojos y hasta los malos hábitos son contagiosos. Eso quiere decir que se pasan de una persona a otra como un balón en un partido de fútbol. Así también pasa con la risa. ¿Se han fijado? No podemos negar que nuestra mamá tiene algo de razón cuando nos recomienda salir al mundo con buena cara. En general una sonrisa se devuelve con otra y a medida que se van acumulando hacen un poco más ligera la vida. ¿Y qué tal cuando oímos una carcajada? De entrada, es una promesa de que pronto vamos a enterarnos de alguna historia que nos va a hacer saltar la barriga, dar de patadas en el piso y tal vez, hasta soltar unas lagrimitas, pero de la risa. Algo así les pasa a los habitantes de este libro. Yawning, lice and even bad habits are contagious. That means they are passed from one person to another like a ball in a soccer game. The same goes for laughter. Have they noticed? We cannot deny that our mother is somewhat right when she recommends that we go out into the world with a good face. In general, one smile is returned with another and as they accumulate they make life a little lighter. And what about when we hear a laugh? From the outset, it is a promise that soon we are going to find out about a story that will make us jump our bellies, kick the floor and perhaps even shed a few tears, but with laughter. Something like this happens to the inhabitants of this book.
